  • Performed research that concluded misinformation spread is increasing over time and developed insight on how to identify misinformation which was included in the Ph. D. thesis of mentor Sruti Bhagavatula.
  • Developed machine learning models in Python using scikit-learn with 98% accuracy to classify articles spreading misinformation by using differential analysis and natural language processing.

  • Enhanced reinforcement learning by 15% on DaVinci robot for tumor recognition by adding vision processing to cutting-edge tumor detection algorithms.
  • Built autonomous three-space object tracking using OpenCV and Python.

Enhancing Exploration of Black Box Classifiers

Louisville, KY | May – August 2017

  • Developed algorithm to attack black box classifier with minimum data for proof of concept.
  • Used current machine learning techniques to develop pseudorandom data as well as model an attacker with no prior knowledge for classifier.

Asymmetric Elliptic Curve Algorithm for Iris Recognition

  • Created iris recognition system using one way hash function to improve security.
