About Me

Welcome to my page! I’m a Pittsburgh born and raised kid who moved to Louisville right before high school. In Louisville, I attended duPont Manual High School, a top 100 school in the nation. After graduating from high school, I enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, I am a junior and majoring in computer science and planning on minoring in business. In addition to being a student, I also host my own podcast, Triple Play Analytics.

Besides academics, I am an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports as well as an amateur sports analyst. Right now, I am looking at the efficiency of NHL goalies and also analyzing the effectiveness of a few secondary baseball pitches. Additionally, I research in cryptography, biorobotics as well as programming language development. I worked at the BioRobotics Lab under Prof. Howie Choset in the Fall 2017 semester while at CMU. I have developed a simplified LISP for people who are interested in learning the basis of functional programming. Furthermore, I have published research on iris recognition and one-way hash functions in the IEEE Xplore Digial Journal. I am working on a new asymmetric cryptographic protocol that leverages the Blum Blum Shub algorithm.

I am also honored to have been a mentor the the Empowered program in Louisville during the summer of 2017. While mentoring, I was able to work with a group of intelligent and hard-working minority girls to help develop their technology as well as business skills. If you are interested to see the work that I did while mentoring, please see the Empowered page!

During the summer of 2018, I had the honor to work at Buchanan & Edwards. There, I worked with Frank Hellwig on a blockchain project pertaining to contract closures. Applying zero-knowledge proofs to modular software design, Frank and myself were able to build a fully functional contract closure platform that exists on a blockchain network.

Currently, I am an advisor and writer for the CMU Sports Analytics Club. I have written a few articles for them on hockey, as it is my biggest sports passion.
